This Cookie Policy applies to the following websites and digital properties operated by ETP and its affiliated brands (collectively, "we," "us," or "our"):

This policy does not apply to pixl.live, which has its own separate cookie policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits and store information about your preferences or activity. Similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage may also be used and are referred to collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

The Cookies We Use

We use cookies for the following purposes across our sites.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for our websites to function. They cannot be disabled.

  • Provider: ETP / First-party
  • Examples: Session cookies, authentication cookies
  • Purpose: Keep you logged in, maintain session state, and remember your preferences.

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make on our sites, so you do not have to make them again on your next visit.

  • Provider: ETP / First-party
  • Cookie names: lmg_technology_filters (lmg.net), touring_technology_filters (lmgtouring.net)
  • Purpose: Remember the filters, sort order and page you chose in the Technology catalogue, separately for each product category, so they are still applied when you return. Your search text is not stored.
  • Duration: 30 days while functional cookies are allowed. If you have not allowed them, the cookie lasts only until you close your browser and holds nothing but the filters you chose yourself.

Analytics Cookies

  • Provider: Google Analytics 4
  • Cookie names: _ga, _gid, _gat
  • Purpose: Track page visits, session duration, and user behaviour in aggregate to help us improve our sites.

On the sites that use our cookie banner, these cookies are set by default for visitors in the United States unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, and only after you accept analytics cookies for visitors in Europe (see "Your Choices" below). systems-innovation.net currently runs more than one GA4 property, so you may see more than one _ga_* cookie there.

Analytics and Marketing Cookies (HubSpot)

  • Provider: HubSpot
  • Cookie names: hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc
  • Purpose: Track form submissions, identify returning visitors, and associate browser sessions with marketing contacts.

Marketing Cookies (Meta)

  • Provider: Meta (Facebook)
  • Cookie names: _fbp, _fbc
  • Purpose: Measure ad conversions and build audiences for Meta advertising campaigns.

Marketing Cookies (LinkedIn)

  • Provider: LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag)
  • Cookie names: li_sugr, bcookie, bscookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, li_gc, li_fat_id
  • Purpose: Measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising campaigns, attribute conversions such as demo and rental inquiry requests to those campaigns, and build audiences for LinkedIn advertising. Currently used on knw.net and coillearningcenter.com.
  • Deployed via: Google Tag Manager. Tag Manager does not set cookies of its own; it loads the marketing tags described here only while marketing cookies are allowed (see "Your Choices" below).

Our websites also signal your choices to Google using Google Consent Mode v2, so Google's tags follow them: the signals start from the defaults described in "Your Choices" below and update whenever you change your choices.

Third-Party Embed Cookies

These cookies are set when you interact with embedded content such as videos.

  • Providers: YouTube (Google), Vimeo
  • Purpose: Enable video playback. May track watch behaviour for personalised recommendations on those platforms.

On our sites, YouTube embeds are served from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain (no cookies until you interact with the player), and Vimeo videos and Instagram posts load only after you choose to play or load them — no cookies from those providers are set before that. Older embeds on systems-innovation.net may still load Vimeo's player, and its vuid cookie, on page load.

Other Services

Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly page analytics on our sites; loads only while analytics cookies are allowed (a Global Privacy Control signal turns it off) and does not use cross-site cookies.

Google Tag Manager — delivers the marketing tags described in this policy on the sites that use our cookie banner. It sets no cookies of its own and loads only while marketing cookies are allowed, so turning marketing off in "Your Privacy Choices", or a Global Privacy Control signal, turns it off too.

Mux — our video streaming provider; configured not to set cookies or store identifiers in your browser.

Mapbox — powers the interactive location maps; loads only while functional cookies are allowed or after you choose to load a map, and may then store a device identifier locally.

BrightEdge (lmg.net) — loads related-content links in the page footer; sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

Google reCAPTCHA (systems-innovation.net) — spam protection on forms; sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for security purposes.

Matterport — powers the embedded 3D space tours; loads only while functional cookies are allowed or after you choose to load a tour, and then sets a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm, from Cloudflare) and stores an anonymous identifier (sc_anonymous_id) in your browser that Matterport uses to measure how the tour is used.

Your Choices

How cookies are handled depends on the site you visit and on where your device indicates you are. This section applies to etp.net, coillearningcenter.com, eventeq.com, knw.net, lmg.net and lmgtouring.net; systems-innovation.net currently uses its own cookie tool.

  • United States: analytics, functional and marketing cookies are on by default. We tell you this on your first visit, and you can turn any category off at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the site footer.
  • Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: we ask for your consent first. No analytics, functional or marketing cookies are set until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time from the same footer link.

We use your device's time zone to decide which of these applies. If it does not reflect where you are, for example because you are using a VPN or travelling, you can still turn any category on or off through "Your Privacy Choices".

Opting Out of Sale or Sharing

Turning off marketing cookies in "Your Privacy Choices" opts you out of the sharing of your personal information with our advertising partners, such as LinkedIn and Meta, for cross-context behavioural advertising, and out of targeted advertising. When you turn a category off, we delete the first-party cookies it uses and reload the page so its tags stop running. Cookies that third parties set on their own domains, such as LinkedIn's, can only be removed through your browser settings.

Global Privacy Control

Our sites honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and turn marketing and analytics cookies off automatically. If you then turn either of them back on for one of our sites, we will respect that choice for that site.

How to Manage Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • See which cookies are stored and delete them individually or in bulk
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block all cookies from specific sites
  • Block all cookies from being set

Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our websites.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our sites do not currently respond to DNT signals because there is no industry-wide standard for how such signals should be interpreted. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals, as described under "Your Choices" above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
